Earlier this week, we had the honor of attending the Annual Council Meeting and the Mayor Making Ceremony at Castle House in Newcastle under Lyme Council offices and a Civic Reception at Keele Hall, Keele University.
The new Mayor is Councillor Gillian Burnett and her Consort is David Faulkner (our beekeeper). Gill also very kindly named our Veterans retreat as one of her two named charities of the year. This support is so very welcome and will help us help other veterans.
