We would like to give a massive shout out to the Walkers – Led by – Darren
Sherwin with Jordan Molyneaux, Anne Walker, Carl Sheldon, Leigh Harvey, David
Sherwin.
The epic long walk started at 10pm on 31st March 2023 at Leek, the night
time walk included all the cadet units in stoke on Trent and Newcastle
finishing at the Tri Services and Veteran Support Centre at 1.15pm 1st April
2023.
They arrived at the centre tired, but in good spirits and everyone at the
centre stood outside cheering them on, Darren’s wife and children were there
to meet him, much to his surprise, as he wasn’t expecting them, but we
managed to sort out the transport to get them to the Centre.
A massive thank you to David who provided the support vehicle for their
Journey, with hot drinks ready for them at the stops.
Well Done to you all!!
The funds that they raised to date is £1,100.00, however this may increase
in time.
