Anita asked if the Tri Services and Veteran Support Centre would like to be part of a gifting day for the children at our local children’s hospital, they needed art and craft items. Of course we said we would help, so along with Stoke Hog Chapter Members and Coopers Croft Care Home we asked for donations and wow it was amazing, so many donated to this worthy cause. A massive thank you to all who donated.
We picked up some of the residents from Coopers Croft in the mini bus along with LeRoy and Jackie and went to the hospital, when the bikers arrived it was exhilarating, listening to them, all the Care Home Residents loved it and even asked to sit on the bikes, it was great to see them smiling.
Unfortunately, due to the wet and cold weather many of the children stayed indoors, but I’m sure they will spend many hours making craft and art designs and we send them all our very best wishes.
